Hello! My name is Naiya Alexis, and I’m from Cary, North Carolina located just outside of Raleigh! I’ve always had a deep love of the arts and creativity; from crocheting to pottery and I am determined to make myself a well rounded artist; I’m an avid pursuer of equity within the arts and have been outspoken about my passion for our media to reflect the world we live in today. I’m a forever east coast resident at heart and am based in Atlanta, Georgia as of September 2023; I’m always looking for new opportunities to grow as an artist so please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Actor's Express Apprenticeship
September 2023-August 2024
Naiya will be joining the Actor’s Express Theatre Company’s Acting Apprenticeship program this fall. Within the program itself, she will take masterclasses with Atlanta professionals and understudy their 2023-2024 season. For more information you can click the link below!

Much Ado
August 25th-Sept 1st
Naiya will be performing as Beatrice in Blue Box Theatre’s summer production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. The show will take place the weekends of August 25th and August 31st at The Honey Suckle Teahouse in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. You can find more information about the production and tickets below.

Women's Theatre Fringe Festival
June 2023
This past June Naiya was part of the 8th annual Women’s Theatre Fringe Festival hosted at NC State’s Titmus Theatre. She debuted as Luna in an original new musical titled Reverie by Ashley Cooper which wen t on to win an award for Best Sound and Music Design.
